God Made Man, Man Made Religion

Two concepts go together like two sides of the same coin. There is but one true religion in the world and it is Christianity. But if Christianity is true, it is certainly NOT a religion. God made man. Man made religion. And Jesus makes the way for you and for me.

Easter Again

There is an ultimate reality beyond this reality. I sometimes think of it as a Core of Truth that is radiating out in multi-scale, multi-dimensional waves in all directions (all dimensions....more than just the 3 we can conceive). It is not a scary thing, but more like a basking in the sunshine on a cold winter day in Florida.

To make any sense, this understanding is of course beyond human intellectual reason. It is by faith we can understand, but faith that is supported by tangible evidence rooted in LOVE. Yes, ultimate reality is rooted in love of all things (that's the way the architect set it up). Jesus was killed and then came back to life and lives forever. There is written documentation on the totality of this understanding: the book of John of God's word, the Bible, provides a concise reveiw article.

God made man; man made religion. This Easter, I don't want to get hung up on the limitations of humanity or stuck in my own frailties. I want to recognize the owner and Voice of Truth of the universe. I want to accept the one who saves me. Go to Jesus, not religion.

Energy is hot and cold

The heavens declare the glory of God. The energy displayed is hot and cold, but God is power. His creation, the universe and all within it, sings and roars with this power. 

Get it straight

God is not religious and Jesus is not a Christian.

A little funny and a lot pathetic

Mark Coppenger, a pastor who teaches at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, commented, "I'm happy to say I think FSM hurts the evolutionists' program since, by mocking the Christian tradition... it reinforces the correct impression that there is genuine contempt for biblical faith in that camp... Besides, the parody is lame, and there are few things more encouraging than cheap shots from one's opponents."

Can you touch the Sun?

• Who can really touch the Sun? Now if we can't touch the Sun, then come we can feel it? I can touch the Sun. 

God Gives Grace in Hard Times

I am weak, but you are strong.
I am broken and undone, but you make me whole.
I am sinful and fallen, but you are righteous and holy.
I am created in your image, and you made me.
I am lost and confused, but you find me and make the way clear.
I am crushed and broken-hearted, but you lift me up and heal me.
I am hopeless, but you restore hope in full.
I am distraught and unable to speak, eat, or sleep,
      but you give me joy and peace in my distress.
I am unable to pray, but Holy Spirit prays for me.
I am believing in the One You Sent.
I am trusting in your Son for my salvation.
I am thankful for Jesus taking my punishment, once and for all and again.
I am loved, for you, Father, are Love and I am your child.
I am listening to hear your voice because it speaks the truth.
I am obeying your instructions
      because they are full of life and I want nothing else.
I am on the right path with firm footing
     because you equip me and guide me.
I am moving forward with a secure future
      because my eyes are fixed on you Lord Jesus.
I am victorious because I am a child of the Most High God!
